Warranty

Isn’t it reassuring to know that if you have a problem with the product you have purchased online we will repair or replace the item.

Upon delivery, if you notice a fault or manufacturing mistake with the product you have ordered email us within 14 days of delivery and we will fix this for you as soon as possible.

We want you to feel confident about purchasing these products online and about the DIY process. Provided you have given us the correct measurements and stayed within our product limitations and recommended limits of each product we will repair or replace the product for you. This is offered for product or manufacturer faults only. We do not take responsibility for change of mind, colour, fabric or product as these are all personal choices made by the consumer on custom made products. We endeavour to manufacture all of our products to the highest possible quality. We strive to ensure all of our products are fault free and of high quality workmanship. We agree to replace any item or component that proves to be defective or faulty without charge and as quickly as possible provided it is returned to us within the 14 day return period. We will then have it tested to determine the exact cause of the fault or defect.

Please note: Damage done during the freight and handling process will be covered and reimbursed only under the postage and handling insurance cover through the selected courier or freight handling company if you opted and paid for it. If damage is done during this time the purchaser will be liable for the cost to return any damaged items to us and for the repair or replacement of the item if it is not covered under the postage/freight insurance policy.

Product warranty

Each product and fabric offers a different warranty. Warranty starts from the date the item was received by the purchaser.

Roller shutters
Roller Shutter coatings offer a 5 year limited warranty
Roller shutter axle offers a 3yr limited warranty
Somfy electric motors offer a 5yr limited warranty – only upon sighting a compliance certificate from your electrician whom installs it
Manual controls offer a 1yr limited warranty
Battery operated eport control /handset offers a 1 yr limited warranty
Battery operated T20 motor offers a 2yr limited warranty
Battery operated T10 mech offers a 2yr limited warranty

make sure guides are not obstructed when curtain is in the downward motion

clean the curtain with warm water when in the fully closed position

wipe in an up and down motion, not side to side or you will cut the wires of your shutter if its electric this will void the warranty

use only non abrasive cleaning fluids and wash shutters at least 4 times a year to help prevent damage

any tampering with the product will result in warranty becoming void

 

Indoor Blinds warranty

5yr warranty on factory faulty materials.

This warranty does not cover any product which fails due to accident, alterations, misuse, abuse, misapplication, improper handling, improper installation, improper operation or cleaning, and normal wear and tear (examples: normal fabric fraying and loss of colour intensity from prolonged use, exposure to salt air, damage from insects or pets).

if our manufactured product is found to be defective in materials or workmanship, we will, at our discretion, repair, or replace the product which fails to conform to this warranty. Please note that colour may vary from lot to lot on some styles, and that we can discontinue certain styles and colours overtime.

This warranty does not cover cost associated with warranty service which includes, but is not limited to, transportation costs to and from our store, costs of removal, re-measure or reinstallation of product, or any incidental or consequential damages.

Please note that the purchaser has 30 days of receipt of goods to report any marks, holes, scratches or defects on the cloth or product. This type of claim will be evident from the first time you put up the blinds and will not be a defect that evolves over time.  No claims for marks, holes, scratches or defects on the cloth or product after that date, will be accepted and will be considered misuse or general wear and tear and replaced or repaired at your cost.

The purchaser has 30 days from the date of delivery or  pick up of the product to notify roller shutters blinds online if they are missing slats, blinds, brackets or any other portion of their order. After this time frame, the order will be considered 100% delivered to the customer.

 

Zip Track Outdoor blinds

2 yr warranty on all components

Claims to be made within 7 days of receipt of goods

The Company’s only obligation shall be to replace with the least possible delay, defective components which do not conform to warranty, without any other Indemnity relating to fabrication, installation and re-installation or consequential damages.

Our products meet the highest standards of blind fabrication and only faults or defects directly attributed to part or fabric fault or failure are covered under this warranty.

All costs related to the installation and re-installation of the Ziptrak® components covered by this warranty is not the responsibility of The Company.   The Company will not be responsible for any consequential damages during or following installation procedures.

We recommend you clean your PVC with warm soapy water and wipe dry. Occasionally after washing use a high quality polish such as Vuplex to polish and remove stains on the PVC to keep the material in the best possible condition to ensure it keeps the clear look and finish it has when you first get the blind. At least once per year a clear silicone spray should be applied to the guides of the blind to keep them running freely and to prevent dirt and debris build up.

Ziptraks are not designed for high wind tolerance or storms. Your blinds should be wound or rolled up during these high wind times. If exposed to ocean spray or salty water it is advisable to clean your blinds every month to help keep the clear PVC in top shape.

The ziptrak blinds are not designed to be used for blocking out the wind they are designed to keep out rain, uv rays and reduce glare. a rule of thumb with ziptraks is, if its to windy to sit outside and have a cup of tea then put the ziptraks in the up position do not leave them down all the time they may stretch and have wind damage.

EXCLUSIONS

The following are exclusions from this warranty:

  1. If usage, adaptation or installation are not in accordance with our written installation and operation instructions.
  2. If the product has been dismantled or returned with clear evidence of abuse or other damage.
  3. If our written specifications are not properly applied to the buyer when selecting the components.
  4. If our written instructions for installation have not been followed.
  5. If our components have been used to perform functions other than the functions they were designed to handle.

5 Year Warranty on all custom-made products. All  products are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty includes all materials, mechanisms (cord locks and tilts gears) and components (brackets, wands, caps, etc.) which make up the blind or shade.

In the event a roller shutters blinds online manufactured product is found to be defective in materials or workmanship, we will, at our discretion, repair, or replace the product which fails to conform to this warranty. Please note that colour may vary from lot to lot on some styles, and that we can discontinue certain styles and colours overtime. On discontinued items, we reserve the right to substitute warrantied product with the nearest colour or style of equivalent or greater value. On current products, we will make every effort to match current style and colour. In the event that the warrantied product is not repairable, and cannot be replaced with the original style and colour (i.e. discontinued), it will be replaced free of charge with the closest available product.
